Sikorska O. Functional-semantic category of potentiality in the Ukrainian language

The units of different levels in modern Ukrainian which form functional-semantic category of potentiality. The aim is to establish the peculiarities of semantics and structure of functional-semantic category in modern Ukrainian. The methods are descriptive, deductive, hypothetic-deductive. For the first time the concrete definition of the semantic volume of functional-semantic category of potentiality in the Ukrainian language was carried out. The semantic sphere and structure of FSC potentiality was singled out, described and specified. The results of the work can be applied in special courses and seminars. The sphere of usage - higher school.
