Dissertation is devoted to the question of the electric train ЭПЛ9Т car reli-ability increasing by prediction of working capacity and improvement of parameters of the elastic-damping connections and design of the spring suspension. The diagnos-tic system of the technical state of electric trains is developed, by means of which the faults of car underframe related to dynamic influences are determined. By the mathe-matical modeling of an electric train motion on the casual irregularities of a railway track the reasons of dynamic load was recognized. The dynamic criteria's was im-proved for determination of dynamic qualities of rolling-stock and railway traffic safety, namely the coefficient of stability against the derailment, the angle of attack, the wear of tread flange of the wheelpair. On the basis of design of experiments ana-lytical formulas for theoretical determination of dynamic performances of an electric train depending on spring suspension parameters are obtained. By prediction of non-failureoperating time of car underframe the perfection of elastic-damping connec-tions and springing suspension design, providing improvement of dynamic qualities of an electric train and the reduction of the wear of tread flange of the wheelpairs, that raises nonfailure operating time of the electric train car as a whole are carried out. Results of this work allow to reduce the cost and time spent on research and experimental development at design and modernization of rolling-stock, and also to decrease the maintenance cost.
