Essay

Professional I-concept is the realization of the profession as an element of personality. Successful professional becoming supposes approaching of the personal ideal self image to the socially established image of the professional. I-concept becoming and adoption of the professional activity image is realized by means of personal, objective, and social reflection. I-concept formation is carried out by the transition of existential self-consciousness to the professional self-control over the work process and self-evaluation. The principal tendency in the students' I-concept formation lies in the deformation of the existential sphere, energization of internalization and pragmatization, appearance of the "clip" attitude to life - intensification of the outer control against the background of the decrease of the self-development (self-movement) orientation. There exist two strategies of the youth adaptation: infernal one and one of the winner, connected with the adequate development of the personal I- concept.
