Tymokha D. Public Administration of Rail Transport Operation

Object of research: state regulation of the railway transport's activity. The purpose of research: theoretical grounding and elaboration of practical propositions on improving the structure and technology of organizational mechanism's functioning of the state regulation of the railway branch's development in Ukraine. Methods: systemic approach, generalization, abstraction, analysis and synthesis, comparison, induction and deduction, prognosis, statistical and economical. Results: scientifically applicable task of giving theoretical grounds and methodical provision for organizational mechanism of the state regulation of the railway transport's activity was solved. Novelty: the basic trends for improving organizational mechanism of state regulation of the railway transport's activity were grounded; they are based on the principle of customers' interests' priority and process management. The results were implied in the activity of the Chief Department of Economy of Kharkiv Oblast State Administration andSouthern Railway Station; they are also used in the academic process of KRI NAPA. Spheres of use: departmental management, scientific researches, teaching in higher educational establishments.
