Essay

This dissertation deals with the trying of systematicall analyze of Ivan Franko's poetical satire on the great base of empirical material. It was made the desigion that the group of this verses was unfairly characterized as a material, which lost its actuality for now. According to this view the theoretical part was made on the base of the solution the definition of "universal laugh" in the bounds of the comic category. This point gave the opportunity to describe satirical poetry of Ivan Franko as example of high quality of creative and esthetic value.
