The thesis deals with the problem of developing student's mentality while introducing the module technology of teaching for studying physics. Didactical peculiarities and pedagogical efficiency of the module technology of teaching in developing students' mentality while studying physics are determined and substantiated. The model of developing student's mentality while studying electrodynamics under the module technology is worked out. The elements of methodical teaching aids for electrodynamics studying are worked out. They are directed for raising cognitive activity of students. The methodology for diagnosing the level of students' mentality development is worked out.
