Zuenko M. The Peculiarities of Borys Chychybabin's Individual Style

The thesis concentrates on the systematical analysis of Russian writer Borys Chychybabin's individual style. It also deals with the evolution and development of style and genres in the artist's creative work throughout different periods. Within the thesis, the theoretical definition of the term "individual style" has been specified and the approaches to studying individual style in literature have been generalized. The parameters of the typology of genres and analysis of individual style have been proposed. The stylistic dominants and constants are studied such as: point of view, structural, imaged and generic. The main genres are considered in writer's poetry (folklore, mythological, classic, philosophical, Biblical and others). The modifications and innovations of genres in Chichibabin's poetry are also analyzed within the framework of the thesis. The individual style on the different levels of Chichibabin's poetry has been investigated. It has given us the possibility to characterize the creative work in general and enrich the ideological and aesthetical meaning of the category "style" and "genre" in Russian literature of the XXth century.
