Essay

The thesis is dedicated to investigation of evolutional processes of planning-compositional structure of the central part of the city, which took place for the period from 17 century until present. In the process of investigation it was determined basic planning and compositional elements, which have been planning the central part of the city from the period of foundation until current state. It was made graphic reconstructions of planning the central part of the city during the primary stages of evolution. In the thesis it was determined basic development regularities of planning-compositional structure of the central part of the city, defined evolution periodicity, city-forming factors which influenced the development of the central part of the city. It was worked out a development model of planning, compositional and functional structures of the central part of the city. It was elaborated the methodical recommendations for saving historical center of the city, program of regeneration of historical center of the city.
