Dashakivska O. Political elite of Ukraine: problem of legitimization.

The complex scientific analysis of problems of legitimatization of Ukraine political elite in the period of 1990 - 2006 is made in the dissertation. The main sources of Ukraine political elite are specified. The author has designated the types of political elite of Ukraine. The dissertation is dedicated to legitimacy of political elite phenomenon reconceptualization according to the needs of its extensive and adequate study. The author's understanding and definitions of "legitimacy", "legitimization", "political elite" phenomena are given here. Particularly author turns attention to specific kind of political case - "legitimization case". The causes of legitimization case are specified. The characteristics of legitimization cases in Ukraine are expounded. Author underlines the crucial role of the political elite in such kind of political case. The sources of political elite legitimacy are generalized and analyzed, their influence on constituent of political elite: political actors and bureaucrats.
