Savchenko I. Social responsibility of public authorities in the conditions of construction of the social state in Ukraine

Object of research: general and specific in the process of forming and functioning of the socially responsible state. Purpose of research: improvement of theoretical and state-managerial basis of the state's social responsibility. Methods of research: dialectical, comparative-legal analysis, statistical, sociological, historical-comparative. Results of research: the grounds are given for the notion of the state's social responsibility being the means for consolidation of the democratic principles in the society. Novelty of research: the multi-functional contents of the state managerial authorities' social responsibility being the principle of systemic formation of the modern state; the bases for dividing social responsibility while realizing the state's social policy are defined. The results of the research were applied in the activity of Kharkiv Oblast State Administration while rendering social services to population. Spheres of research: scientific researches, training and retraining of public servants.
