Theoretic literary analysis of drama process of the eighties of XX century called by "New Wave" in Ukrainian literary criticism was fulfilled in the dissertation. It was extended the content of the notion "New Wave Drama". It was attracted attention to plays by Yaroslav Stelmah - one of the outstanding representatives of this art phenomenon. Key words: drama, monodrama, "New wave", demythologization, genre diffusion, social historical entropy, public reflexive drama, drama-elaboration, style eclecticism.
