In the dissertation the author studies the peculiarities of the poetic style of Boris Kharchuck's stories written in the 70th -80th. The author considers the problems of the stories and the specificity of their artistic realization and has made a careful study of plot and composition features of writers' stories in view of his figurative thinking development.
