Objects - are the physiological processes which take place in the plants of grafted and non-grafted tomato of winter hydroponic hothouses depending on sort-grafted combinations, method of application plants and the area of feeding. Purpose - is the grounding and working out the separate elements of the technique of grafting plants of tomato, and the methods of the technology of growing grafted plants in the plant, which foresees the selection of subgrafts, methods of subgrafting, determination of the optimum area of feeding the grafted plants, determination of the efficiency of their growing with forming plants in one and two stems, that will provide the increase of the productivity, firmness against illnesses and, as a result, the level of economic indications. Methods are the vegetation experiments, laboratory-analytical, mathematical-statistical and economical calculation. Novelty - is that the biological features of the grafted plants of tomato, the physical and biochemical processes, which take place in the grafted plants at different technological methods of growing such as: influence of the sort-grafted combinations, areas of feed, forming plants, were explored for the first time in Ukraine. The Results of the researches have the important value for the scientific and practical vegetable-growing. They can be used for the decision of problems of the increase of productivity of the plants of tomato and their firmness against illnesses when growing the plant with the prolonged period of growth in winter hydroponic hothouses. Field of application is vegetable-growing.
