Bereza A. The Regional Policy as a Factor of Social Stability: European Experience and Ukraine

The author presents the complex investigation of regional policy as a factor of social stability on the base of European and Ukrainian experience. The thesis clarifies modern approaches to region concept, relationships between regionalism and regionalization in foreign and domestic political science works. The author also examines the role of the state in the modern conceptions of regional development. The special place in the work was given to the institutional structure of regional policy in the countries of Western and Eastern Europe. It proposes the recommendations about the most appropriative structure of regional development management system. The author defined the sense, principles, objects, tasks of four main stages of regional policy history in Ukraine.
