Essay

The thesis is devoted to investigations of the characteristics of brewery spring barley's growth, development, and productivity depending on the elements of growing process including fertilization system and seeding norm. There was determined the dependence of spring barley organogenesis on weather conditions and grounded the influence of fertilizers rates and seeding norm on the morphophysiological characteristics of the plants development in the thesis. The results of the investigations revealed that mineral fertilizers application favors plants growth, increases leaf area, dry matter accumulation and net photosynthesis production. The influence of mineral nutrition and seeding norm on the spring barley for productivity and seed quality is studied. Economical effectiveness and energy requirements of the growth technology are established. Project of the technology for brewery barley cultivation based on the research results is recommended for industrial usage. This technology in the right-bank part ofthe Forest-Steppe zone of Ukraine provides crop productivity of 6 t/ha and allows to obtain production with high technological grain quality. The basic results of researches entered into manufacture. Area - agriculture, crop production, educational process.
