Essay

The research deals with observation of skeletal system changes in burnt patients which were treated using lyophilized xenografts in the complex treatment. During experiment it was proved that usage of early necrectomy and closure of burn wounds IIIA-B – IV stages with xenografts possess an osteoprotective action that can be proved by definite decrease of destructive changes of osteal tissue and methaepiphyseal plate in animals treated with usage of xenografts versus ones treated by traditional method. It was proved that the usage of lyophilized xenografts in the surgical treatment of burnt patients results in milder course of burn disease, improvement of microcirculation, Ca-Phosphorus metabolism, indexes of bones’ mineral density in patients with severe burn wounds. It is recommended to implement structure-modifying therapy into the complex treatment of such patients, including gradual physical exercises, diet rich with calcium and vitamin D, ultraviolet radiation, calcium-rich supplements 1000-1500 mg/day (Calcium D3 Nikomed), antiresorbents 200 MO/day (Miacalcic).
