The work investigates the peculiarities of the clinical course of lacunar brain infarctions depending on the risk factors and determines the correlation between the character of the clinical manifestations and location of the lacunar focus. The characteristics of the course of lacunar brain infarctions depending on their localization and risk factors were determined based on the findings of complex clinical-instrumental investigation of 115 patients. The incidence of typical syndromes of lacunar lesions and atypical syndromes was revealed. Clinical and neurovisualization differences at presence or absence of atherosclerotic occlusive lesions of large vessels in patients with lacunar infarctions were found out. The character of cognitive and emotional disorders in patients with lacunar infarctions was determined. The protocol of secondary prevention of lacunar infarction were substantiated.
