In this dissertation the complex systematic, analytical-synthetic research on MPonedilok's epic creative work has been carried out for the first time in Ukrainian literature studies. It has been focused on the writer's unique talent and status of writer-immigrant With this purpose both the writer's life stages of creative work and the ways of presentation (centralized - decentralized) are studied. The dominant features of the epic's world outlook are determined as well. The lyre-epics work of Master of Word, in which an anti-bolshevik theme took a special place, has been considered and interpreted. This work is represented by a number of novels, short stories and stories. The ideas for the literary works were provided by the writer's life experience, which endowed his works with authenticity. Destitute Ukrainians became the heroes of the writer, with the help of their images M.Ponedilok uplifted humaneness and humanism above bolsheviks' loss of moral-ethic values. Great attention has been paid to the works containing anti-militarist ideas. It is singled out that he author doesn't depict the image of enemy, the inner world of man is shown as arena of ;verlasting struggle between the good and evil, in which the revenge is gotten by good or evil jowers in turns. Such an objective and artistic principle of reality reflection has enriched Ukrainian irt of writing with hew themes, images, characters that are antithetical to the propaganda of Soviet iterature. It has been brought to light that no matter what theme the writer touched upon yet the theme)f his motherland remained eminent for him. He had to leave Ukraine in the years of World War I. The problem of alienation from motherland is proved to have strengthened the author's sadness ind nostalgia. Lyrical description of far away Ukraine is recognized to be a characteristic >eculiarity of the writer's works, the concept "field" has become one of its manifestations. The analysis of humorous and satirical writer's creative work has been made, with a focus on tspoetical peculiarities. The problem-thematical range of the author's satirical and humorous vorks embraces the wide variety of topics. First of all the epic depicted the life of Ukraine under soviet rule with its absurd pro-communist dogmas and directives, with miserable existence of iverage people and satisfied cloudless life of Soviet leaders. This contrast eventually inspired the ntroduction into the writer's creative work one of the key problems: "a man - power".
