Lesovets N. Ergonymics of Luhansk: structural-semantic and social-functional aspects

Object: more than 4000 ergonyms, which present a modern ergonymіcon of Luhansk (have been recorded for 2002-2006); aim: complex structural-semantic and social-functional analysis of ergonymics of Luhansk; methods: descriptive, methods of statistical processing of materials and psycholinguistical experiment; results: have been elaborated the status of ergonyms in modern onomastic space, have been defined ergonyms' lexical-semantic and structural types of one of the areas of Ukrainian language existence, have been outlined the role of connotation during the creation of a new ergonym, have been presented the recommendation for language regulation and legislative fixing of city ergoobjects' appellation, have been entered the roll of Luhansk ergonyms in the scientific circulation.
