The thesis is devoted to the analysis of M. I. Tsvetaeva's artistic symbolism. The research work presents the analysis of modern level of the symbol typology problem solving. It also examines the literary criticism methods of symbol nature in Tsvetaeva's creative work analysis. The sphere of symbols, actual for the poet, has been outlined, the main symbolic complexes and dominant symbols have been picked out as well as the special existence principles of the universal symbols in Tsvetaeva's poetic world have been researched and the individual author's symbolism and its peculiarities have been revealed. On grounds of analysis of different symbol types's interaction principles in M.I. Tsvetaeva's poetic world the nature of poet's symbolism as an artistic system is characterised.
