Essay

In the thesis under discussion the results of the complex clinical, laboratory and instrumental (with the use of ultrasonoric densitometry) examination of 186 workers of industrial enterprises with unfavorable physical conditions (noise, vibration, etc.) are given. They have revealed structural and functional changes of bone tissues (osteoporosis, osteopeniae) in 79% of the patients. It had been shown that the use of electrophoresis of pelovit, hydro laser therapy and especially their complex use due to influence on pathogenic links of structural and functional damages of bone and muscular system, e.g. vegetative regulation, peripheral circulation and mineral metabolism have a positive influence on remodeling processes of bone tissue and ensuring of bone mass increase. They have developed prognostic mathematical model which allow to forecast the development of osteoporosis in the workers of industrial enterprises during professional medical examinations and, thus, increase the efficacy of medical service.
