The dissertation represents the formation problem of students’ readiness to use folk traditions in physical education as the important component of the future educators’ professional training. It presents the structure of the educators’ readiness to accomplish tasks for the preschool physical education on the basis of folk traditions. The content of professional skills was defined for the future specialist in preschool education in view of specific physical training activity. The author’s program and method for the formation of students’ readiness to use folk traditions in preschool physical education has been approved.
