Baylo O. Efficacy of using the transurethral methoda in treatment of urethral strictures in men.

The dissertation depiets the efficacy of treatment of patients with urethral strictures by means of transurethral surgical interferences. Тhe work is based on clinical examinations of 251 patients who underment 275 endourethral interferences for strictures. There has been proved the high efficacy and expediency of transurethral interference in treatment of urethral strictures. We are grounded the conception of urethral strictures treatment. The urethral stricture treatment depend of clinical symptoms, sizes of strictures and paraurethral tissues changes. We are proposed the algorithm for urethral stricture treatment. The study showed the individual approach depend of strictures sizes and paraurethral tissues changes. That is why, we raise the efficiency of the treatment urethral strictures on 97,6%. We can decrease the residual cases and increase the quality of the life. We are suggested the differentiation in urethral strictures treatment on the ground of strictures sizes and clinical symptoms. The resulting data testigy to the fact that endourethral interference is an alternative to the open surgical interference in treating the urethral strictures.
