The epidemiological peculiarities of hepatitis B and C spreading, as the real intension, parameters, tendency to development, and motive forces of epidemic process have been established. The leading role of unmarked component of epidemic process, the activity of it is determined by preference of anicteric, subclinical undiagnosed forms of acute and chronic hepatitis and virus carrier state have been estimated. The real infection of blood-donors of viral hepatitis B and C with accurate definition of form and stage of infectious process has been revealed. The comparative analysis of apprehensibility of various methods of revealing marks of hidden blood and improved quality control of presterilizing disinfection of medical instruments of non-expendable using due to "Gemafon" test have been fulfilled. The appropriateness of the using of aldehyde-containing disinfectants in disinfection of hepatitis B and C viruses has been proved. The major ways of improvement of preventive and antiepidemic measures directed to decreasing intensity of epidemic process of viral hepatitis with parenteral mechanism of transmission in Poltava region have been elaborated.
