Kovalchuk M. Composite Sentences with Undifferentiated Connection Types in the Old-Ukrainian Language.

The thesis deals with the systemic description of the composite sentences with the undifferentiated connection types in the Old-Ukrainian and their grammatical peculiarities. The general-theoretical problem of the transitional types of the syntactic connection in the composite sentences was scrutinized; the criteria of singling out the grammatical models and variants of the sentences with the undifferentiated connection types were determined. The author suggested the description of the means of expressing the transicional connection types and traced the correlation between the conjunctional and asyndetic sentences with the undifferentiated connection types. The structurally semantic classification of the transicional composite sentences within their model frame was made. In the paper the semantic-syntactical relations and forms of expressing the syntactic connection between the predicative components of the analysed composite sentences were defined. The author outlines the transformational phenomena and tendencies of the functioning of the structures with the undifferentiated connection types in the Old-Ukrainian Language in the process of the composite sentence system formation.
