Research of unconventional forms of political participation in the context of political modernization was carried off. The content of the notion "unconventional political participation" was clarified. The methodology of unconventional political participation investigation in the transitional political systems was improved. It was established that the concrete forms of political participation are determined by the type of political culture and by the degree of its development.
