Essay

The dissertation presents the methods of forming and assessment of functional-spatial organization of hotel complexes and estimation of possibility and expediency of their placing in the city-planning formations on the early design stages. An analysis and systematization of domestic and foreign experience of creation of norms, assessment methods of quality in the industry of planning of objects of hotel business is carried out. The classification of hotel complexes and facilities of the tourist accommodation is created in terms of the modern understanding and recommendations are offered for modernizations of normative documents. The basic factors which influence the forming of functional-spatial organization of hotel complexes are determined. The necessity and adaptation of Ukrainian legislation in the field of development of tourism and resort activity according to the respective directives and standards of EU are determined. The methodology, developed in the dissertation, gives possibility to carryon an aim-oriented research in terms of the best solution of hotel complexes. The research results and methods are approbated in practice and recommended to application in planning of public buildings and constructions on the early design stages.
