Dissertation is devoted to the study of basic pathogenetical mechanisms of disturbances of osmoregulating function of kidneys of pregnant rats in the conditions of toxic nephropathy. It has been established, that by the 20th day of pregnancy functional ability of kidneys to regulate osmotic homeostasis is preserved completely with the increase of glomerular filtration, filtration fraction of osmotic active substances. In animals with sublimate nephropathy only moderate proteinuria is observed in the conditions of water diuresis by the 20th day, and at osmotic diuresis the renal reserve with these animals is absent. It is shown that in animals, whose pregnancy developed on the background of sublimate nephropathy by the 20th day, the characteristic disturbances for sublimate nephropathy with the moderate decline of ability to regulate osmotic homeostasis are observed. The conclusion is made that reduction of the amount of functional nephrons to 50 % does not result in development of nephropathy of the pregnant. It is recommended to conduct researches of function of kidneys in the pregnant with the renal pathology in the conditions of the functional loadings for the exposure of the hidden disturbances and possible decompensation.
