Bagmut I. Lexico-semantic field of sound nominations in modern Ukrainian literary language (compound, structure, paradigm)

The dissertation deals with a research of compound, structure peculiarities, and semantic organisation of lexico-semantic field of sound nominations in modern Ukrainian literary language. The lexico-semantic field of sound nominations is considered as a wide, literary normative, monocentric form, which is characterised by open structure, compound flexibility and bounds diffusion. Special features of the ‘sound’ concept were defined; principles and criteria of sound nominations selection from general Ukrainian vocabulary were determined; the status and the structure of lexico-semantic field of sound nominations were defined; systematic analysis of semes compound was conducted; relations between the lexico-semantic field of sound nominations and other lexico-semantic forms were discovered; paradigmatic relations in the field structure were researched.
