Zolochevskyу S. Zolochevkyy S.A. Scientific justification for the rational method of selecting the patients for grafting the tunica albuginea by autoskin.

This dissertation is devoted to solving the actual task of urology which has the substantial practical value - increasing efficiency of surgical treatment of the Peyronie s disease with the help of pathologically and genetically proved indications and contraindications for this kind of treatment, which are based on the proposed index of the tunica albuginea calcification and the morphological stabilization criteria of the inflammatory process in it. Due to the research it was proved that in case of the Peyronie s disease the presence of double refraction during the polarization and optical microscopy is the morphological criterion of the unspecific inflammatory process. The index of the tunica albuginea calcification is offered as the criterion for the choice of a method of treatment for the patients of this category. The indications and contraindications for grafting the tunica albuginea by autoskin are offered.
