Research object: The object of the study: B. Antonenko-Davidovichўs "Siberian short stories". Research purpose: The establishing of the philosophical base of "Siberian short stories" in the context of European existentialism and native existential discourse. Research methods: Mythological, culturally-historical, culturally-typological. Results, novelty of the research are as follows: the main existentialistўs motives of "Siberian short stories" and the mythological essence of the existentialistўs conception of personality in "Siberian short stories" have been studied for the first time. The field of application: The university (institute) courses of studies of the History of Ukrainian Literature of the second half of the XXth cen-tury, special courses and scientific seminars, research in the field of literary science.
