Bochevar O. Biologigal and technical measures of increase of plants capability and quality of spring barley grain in conditions of south-west Steppe of Ukraine

The objects are the spring barley under biological and technological agronomy approaches impact.The goal – to work out biological approaches and to improve technological measures to rise barley adaptation taking in account weather conditions variability, new varieties morphological peculiarities, their reactions on growth regulation and biological preparations.The methods are field, micro-field and green-house experiments.Results:An optimum time for planting and rate of seedling of spring barley for seed using forage and brewing direction was established.More adaptive are «Getman» and «Vakula» varieties.The biological measures were offered. It provide cost price of grain production 5,2-12%, grain yield rising 0, 29-0,58 t/ha, to decrease the root rots spreading 8.0 – 12,7%. Protection measures effect against loose smut is 94,7%. Novelty: complex biological preparations using peculiarities of the spring barley growing in the south-western part of Steppe zone of Ukraine worked out for the first time.Theprospect for crop yield rising and grain quality indexes improvement gave proof.The scientific results were tested in the production conditions in the 250 ha and implemented in the farms of the Odessa province.
