Krychevska D. Landscape and Ecological Principles of Territorial and Functional Organization of Mountain Biosphere Reserves (Based on the Ukrainian Part of the International Biosphere Reserve "Eastern Carpathians").

The dissertation gives grounds to the optimal territorial planning of the Ukrainian part of the International Biosphere Reserve (IBR) "Eastern Carpathians" based on landscape and ecological approaches. The elucidated the functional role of IBR "Eastern Carpathians" within the ecological networks of the Carpathians and Polonynsko-Beskydsky biogeographical area. The researcher has worked out an algorithm of zoning of mountain BR-s based on landscape and ecological principles, as well as has given grounds to the scheme functional zoning of Ukrainian part of IBR based on the evaluation of geosystems according to the parameters of positional and dynamic autonomy, antropogenic modifying of the forest cover, ecosystem and rarity representativeness.
