The dissertation focuses on theoretical and experimental studying of the problem of pre-school children' musical abilities formation using Ukrainian folklore. Scientific and methodical foundations, organizational and pedagogical principles are defined. Methods of musical abilities formation using integrative approach as one of the most fruitful means of pre-school children' music abilities' formation is elaborated. "Musical abilities" as to pre-school children are defined as child' stable individual and psychological characteristics provide the successfulness' of children musical activities. It's proved that formation of musical perception abilities, abilities for different kinds of musical activities and musical creation abilities which make the structure of musical abilities is the result of purposeful developing of different kinds of musical activitie
