Tarasenko E. Advance of treatment patients with new cases and relapses of multidrug resistant pulmonary tuberculosis

Object of research - newly detected and relapses of multidrug resistant pulmonary tuberculosis; the purpose - increase of efficiency and tolerability of antituberculosis chemotherapy by advance of methods of application of antituberculosis drugs including fluoroquinolones 4 generation and surgical interventions; methods - clinical, X-ray, microbiological, biochemical, statistical; the novelty - is studied rate and term of drug resistance extension to antituberculosis drugs; to determined bacteriostatic blood activity with different combinations of I and II line antituberculosis drugs with moderate activity against MBT and established the synergetic combination of these drugs; established the efficacy of step therapy with ciprofloxacin and eficacy of gatifloxacin in complex treatment; adapted method of treatment of multidrug resistant tuberculosis with steady distribution of synergetic combination of 2-3 antituberculosis drugs with moderate activity against MBT during the day; application thefluoroquinolones of ІІ generation in regimen of step therapy; application gatifloxacin patients who were failed with ciprofloxacin and ofloxacin during the course of chemotherapy and timely managed surgical treatment (during intensive phase of treatment) in case absence of contraindications, achieved increase efficacy of treatment of 13,4 % and decreased of rate unfavorable side effects with antituberculosis drugs.
