Datchenko Y. The language of Mykola Cherniavsky's works.

The object is the Mykola Cherniavsky's art, publicistic and epistolary heritage. The aims are to describe of Mykola Cherniavsky's linguistic person and to analyze The language of writer's works. The methods are descriptive, structural, function - stylistic. Extra- and intralinguistic factors of the Mykola Cherniavsky's forming as the language person are distinguished; the importance of his editorial, publishing, pedagogical and social work for the development of the Ukrainian language is shown; writer's points of view on the national and language unity are lighted up in the research work. Language material of M. Cherniavsky's works is analyzed for the first time. On the basis of this the correlation of dialect, colloquial, folk and book lexical elements in his language practice is pointed out. The practical entrance of neologisms and old words into the artistic poetry language is shown. The traditional components of picturesque dominants in M. Cherniavsky's works are distinguished.
