Essay

The object of the research is the methods and algorithms of processing the radar images under the complicated interference conditions. The aim of the research is the enhancement of the accuracy of determination of position of extensive marine objects performed by coast radar stations on the basis of the optimization of the digital processing of coordinate information received at the object sounding under the passive jamming conditions. The scientific novelty lies in the following: 1) the methods and the digital algorithms of building the regular long-range passive jamming intensity profiles created by the sea surface and rainfall; 2) the method of efficient signal extraction based on formation of the adaptive threshold; 3) the method of determination of coordinates of "conditional" geometric center of the extensive marine object by its binary radar image; 4) the digital test models of passive jamming which allow to objectively evaluate the accuracy and efficiency of functioning the various methods andalgorithms of the digital processing of coordinate information; 5) the digital algorithms of evaluation of coordinates of statistical center of reflection of the extensive marine object by its multipoint radar image. The results of this research were realized in the "Delta-Lotsman" State Enterprise. The results of the research can be used in process of implementation of the tasks of control and regulation of vessels movement as well they can be of service to organizations involved in solving the similar tasks.
