Essay

Dissertation is devoted to the questions of mining-geometrical analysis of labradorite deposits of decorative stone of Ukrainian crystal shield with the purpose to improve the methods of quantitative and qualitative estimation of their parameters. Certain characteristic features of geological structure of labradorite massif of Korosten plateau, their mineralogical, chemical composition, and their physical-mechanical properties are defined. The researches of labradorite massif fissuring, their basic systems of cracks and the mechanism of their distribution are led. Analytical characteristic of angle correlations between the basic systems of the cracks developed in the labradorite massif of the Ukrainian crystal shield are determined. The conditions of forming natural parts of labradorite massif are determined on the basis of theoretical and experimental researches. Their most widespread forms are set. The method of geometrisation of natural separations is worked out to get high-quality block raw material of maximum volume. The methods of extractive seat geometrisation to improve the quality of blocks are offered. Dependence of block raw material losses on different technological methods of monoliths separation and their division on commodity blocks. The results can be used for the geometrisation of ornamental stone deposits. It can raise the efficiency of mining industry by the improvement of quality of block raw material and by the rational use of natural resources.
