The thesis is devoted to one of the most complicated both at the theoretical and methodical aspects problems of physical geography of the ocean - natural distriction of his spaces and classification of units. The author is collect, critically analysed, systematized in historical cut the vast material about accumulated by present time experience of distriction of the Word ocean and gave estimation of contemporary state of the problem. Revealed fundamental complications and suggested ways of them solution in calculation of modern ideas about regularity of regional differentiation and integration of geographical cover. Proposed new approaches to systematization of space relations inside it and discovery of natural regions of the ocean. Composed the new scheme of taxonomical units of physico-geographical distriction of the Earth which allow to conduct on the modern scientific-methodical level joint distriction of the ocean and earth with calculation their specification and interrelations as structural links of geographical cover. On the base of original methodology approach and newer actual and climatic array data of Geographical Information Systems (GIS) also satellite observations by the temperature of surface of the ocean is analysed differentiation of natural conditions in the World ocean, the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov and composed new schemes of their complex physico-geographical distriction, which ensure to distinguish and all-round characteristic of inner homogeneous and individually specified natural regions.
