Object: the development of volitional qualities of personality. Sabject: volitional qualities of students, the pecularities of their development and the forming. Metods: theoretical analysis of the literature, observation, questionnairing, psychodiagnostics methods. Novelty: the differenes of students volitional qualities with different proffesional orientation is exposed and it depends on schoding period. The types of personality are singler out and the volitional qualities dominate among them. The system of purposeful formation and correction of studrnts' volitional qualities is worked out. Sphere of application - psichological.
