Mikhno V. Phenomenon of P.N. Tolstyakov in the context of Ukrainian music culture of the XX century.

The object - phenomenon of creative figure of P.N. Tolstyakov in the context of Ukrainian 20th century musical culture; the purpose - revelation of the essence and importance of the phenomenon of P.N. Tolstyakov, search of unique identity of creative heritage of the artist in the context of Ukrainian 20th century musical culture; the methods - comparative historical, phenomenological, semiotic, musicological, application of analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, abstracting and formalization; novelty is determined by the choice of the research aspect; the result - pioneering musical and culturological study of the phenomenon of P.N. Tolstyakov in the aspect of universalism of his creative activities, confirmation of the hypothesis the figures of P. Dragomyrov, author of manual "Solfeggio" (Petrograd, 1914) and P.N. Tolstyakov were identical, composer's heritage chronologically attributed, "neoromantic context" found in choir opuses, peculiarities of clerical compositions outlined, priority of the composer in Ukrainian sound cinema proved; branch - theory and history of culture, art science.
