Novosel O. Pharmacognostical studies of some rep-resentatives Malus and Pyrus species

This dissertation is devoted to parmacognostical studies of leaves of Pyrus communis, Malus silvestris, Malus domestica. The systematic phytochemical stud-ies of Pear’s and Apple’s leaves were conducted. 31 substances were isolated from Pear’s and Apple’s leaves, сoffee acid, umbeliferron, esculetin, skopoletin, apigenine, luteoline, kempferol, astra-galine, myrecetine, were isolated for the first time. The method of obtaining of Pear’s leaves fluid extract was developed, its acute toxicity and antymicrobic, antyinflammatory and diuretic activity were studied. Pectines were obtained from Apple leaves and were standartizated. The following draft sets of AND for the medical raw materials: “The pear leaves”, “The apple leaves” and “Fluid extract made from pear leaves”, “The pectines from apple leaves” were developed.
