Zamaziy T. Clinical epidemiological features of toxocarosis in modern conditions and optimization of medical measures

The dissertation deals with the study of clinical epidemiological course of toxocarosis at the example of Kharkiv region. In the conditions of Kharkiv region the great number of dogs and their significant infection with toxocarosis lead to intensive contamination of environement with toxocar ova that favours the invasion spread among the population. Seroepidemiological examination of the population for toxocarosis carried for the first time with immune enzyme assay revealed the contradiction of the presence the individuals with revealed toxocar antibodies and absence of the regislered toxocarosis morbidity. The all-round clinical laboratory instrumental investigation of the patients allowed to evaluate the toxocarosis as a chronic systemic disease which is very diverse by its clinical manifestations.
