Afanasieva Y. The application of high tone therapy in complex sanatorium-balneologic treatment of patients ill with dyscirculatory encephalopathy of I and II stages

The thesis covers clinical and pathogenetic substantiation of using high tone therapy in complex sanatorium-balneologic treatment of patients with dyscirculatory encephalopathy of atherosclerotic and mixed genesis of I and II stages. A high tone therapy promotes positive changes in the clinical picture of the disease, has a patho- and sanogenetic orientation which is proved by improvement of clinical and neurological status, the state of cerebral circulation, lipid metabolism, rheologic properties of blood, immune system. There were revealed peculiarities of sano- and pathogenetic mechanisms of high tone therapy effect in patients with dyscirculatory encephalopathy of atherosclerotic and mixed genesis.A technique of complex application of high tone and balneotherapy was developed and substantiated. It was proved that therapeutic effect of the complex is realized at the expense of considerable improvement of clinical and neurologic condition, cerebral circulation, normalization of the arterial and venous vessel tonicity, positive influence on the system of hemorheology (decreased hypercoagulation and fibrinolysis activation) and lipid metabolism, normalization of impairments in T-cell chain of the immune response, limitation of autoimmune responses, sensitization reduction to target organs (the brain, vessels, myocardium) and stimulation of natural protective mechanisms. According to the data of immediate and remote results the application of this physiotherapeutic method in complex sanatorium - balneologic treatment contributes to increased efficacy of therapy in patients ill with dyscirculatory encephalopathy, ameliorate the life quality and work abilities.
