Research object: repair heifers of the Znamenskogo type. Purpose of researches: comparative study of a different intensity of growing of repair heifers of the Znamenskogo type. Research methods: zootechnics, biological, economic, biometricheskie. Results of researches: for a theory - efficiency of the intensive growing of repair heifers of the Znamenskogo type, which allows to shorten age of the fruitful coupling and otela on 7-8 months, is first set, than is practiced in the economies. The optimum terms of coupling of repair heifers of the Znamenskogo type are definite. The intensive growing of heifers allows to conduct coupling in 15-16 months on conditions of achievement of living mass 385 kg. For practice - the intensive growing of heifers allows introduction of them to the basic herd on 7-8 months before terms, that are practiced, and it considerably promotes efficiency of conduct of the meat cattle breeding.
