Object - process of water use in VKH reservoirs of Ukraine in modern conditions of managing; purpose - improvement of scientific bases of rational water use and organizational-economical mechanism of its regulation; substantiation of directions of ecology - economical efficiency increase of water use resources in VKH reservoirs of Ukraine; methods - systematic and monographic approach, structural and systematic, statistical - economical and economical-mathematical analysis, balance, comparison, generalization; novelty - certain ecology - economical essence of concept "VKH reservoirs " in general water use system, substantiated ways of optimization of an anthropogenic loading level to the river reservoirs; results - methodical approaches to ecology-economical estimation of water use efficiency were improved, complex estimation of a modern water use level in river reservoirs of Ukraine was conducted; model of the organizational-economical mechanism of water resources' management was improved, advanced priority directions of the efficiency increase of water use in river reservoirs of Ukraine were substantiated; the model was introduced to the economical practice
