Essay

The dissertation is devoted to decision of scientific problem to increase TV automatic tracking system (TV ATS) range by means of consideration of TV ATS as an integral electro-optical system with function of automatic detection and tracking of targets. Theoretical generalization is performed for energy processes in signal of TV ATS with taking into account of target and background condition, condition of atmosphere as an optical sphere, parameters of optical-electronic channel, demands to probability characteristics of TV ATS. Effect of algorithms of noise smoothing, adaptive forming of target detecting threshold, target detection confirmation, contrast and correlative target detection on optical-electronic channel parameters is investigated. Results of exploration of TV ATS testbed in stand conditions and results of trial of TV ATS sample in natural conditions are sited. Sphere of use is electro-optical instrument-making industry.
