Ryabinin Y. Crossborder Cooperation in the System of Processes of Regional Integration of Ukraine: Political Analysis.

Dissertation is devoted to the research of problems of functioning and development of crossborder cooperation as the special factor of process of regional integration. Origin and development of crossborder cooperation, features of its essence, principles and functioning in Central and Eastern Europe and its influence on acquiring European standards by the countries of the former Soviet oriented bloc are considered in the thesis. It is proved that crossborder cooperation turned out to be one of the basic factors that influenced joining European Union by above-mentioned countries. Development of crossborder cooperation and euroregions as the legal realization of this type of cooperation on the western borders of Ukraine is analyzed. The thesis contains a detailed analysis of the priority direction in the foreign policy, developed concept of priority of the foreign policy, besides the main components of the European integration were classified. Importance of relations between Ukraine and Russia is analyzed, interdependence of these two countries and also it is suggested to create a new euroregion, the constituents of which could be Donetsk from Ukrainian and Rostov regions from Russian side. The main directions of development of this crossborder cooperation are specified.
