Essay

The dissertation is devoted to evolution of national self-consciousness in the period of social transformation. The mechanisms of its formation dependence on staged position of socium have been revealed. The theoretical interpretation, empirical analysis of levels of formation of national self-consciousness of Donetsk region's inhabitants in dependence on their socio-demographic characteristics have been fulfilled as the basis for analysis of the world of consolidation of modern Ukrainian socium.
