Essay

The dissertation is the first in native jurisprudence general theoretical monographic research of consumer social and natural human rights and legal mechanism of their securing in Ukraine. The interpretation of consumer human rights as a kind of social and natural (general social) rights, characteristics of nexus between them and correlation with other social and natural rights, especially with the right to worthy standard of living, is given for the first time. The fundamental international (universal and European) standards of human right to worthy level of consumption are characterized. The author ascertains the conformity of valid Ukrainian legislation with the mentioned standards and the possibilities of its future adaptation with them. The status of legislative mechanism of securing human rights to high quality foodstuffs, to housing services, to information concerning goods and services in consumption sphere, and the possibilities of improving of this mechanism are analyzed. As a result of the latter the author makes several proposals
